About Wrayside Country House
Wrayside was built in 1914 in an elevated position allowing guests to enjoy panoramic 360 degree views on the Lakeland Fells, the Cheviot Hills and the Pennines . All of these hills are all well known, not only for their beauty, but also for their walks and mountain climbing.
We are located just outside of the city of Carlisle, Cumbria in the north of England and for the golf lovers there are a few courses only a short drive away from Wrayside.
We have exclusive fishing rights on a stretch of the River Eden and are available for bookings.
